Agenda for Humphrey City Council Meeting

                                                                                As of Thursday noon (July 17, 2025)

The City Council of the City of Humphrey will hold a regular monthly meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Building. An agenda for such meeting, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk or on the website at www.cityofhumphrey.com.         

The normal order of business to be:

1.             Opening of regular meeting – roll call.    Inform the public of the posted open meeting laws and where they are posted.

2.             Approval of the agenda

3.             Open the public hearing on the liquor license application of GTC Alley, LLC – 203 Main Street

4.             Approval of minutes of the previous meeting(s) 

5.             Treasurer’s Report 

6.             Approval of the Bills and payroll

7.             Committee reports, if any :(police; community building, maintenance, water meter & past-due accounts report)

                                Budget Workshop with auditor – August 18 at 6:00 p.m.

8.             New business:

                1.   Ryan Sorensen, League Director & Board President Northeast NFL Flag Football - discussion on moving a non-profit                                                 NFL youth flag football league to Humphrey, NE from Norfolk, NE. 402-920-0405

                2.   Jeff Brandl – Humphrey Fire Department – equipment needs

                3.   Discuss/approve Railroad lease invoices

                4.   Close public hearing on liquor license application

                5.   Recommend for approval/denial of liquor license for GTC Alley LLC

                6.   Executive session – purchase of land

                7.   Action on executive session item – purchase of land  

9.             Adjournment
