Notice of a Regular Monthly Meeting

 

Notice is hereby given that a regular monthly meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Humphrey, Nebraska, will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Humphrey Community Center.  The meeting will be open to the public.    The normal order of business to be:

1.             Opening of the regular meeting - roll call.    Inform the public of the posted open meeting laws and where they are posted.

2.             Approval of agenda

3.             Approval of minutes of the previous meeting(s)

4.             Treasurer’s Report

5.             Bills and claims and approval of the same

6.             Committee reports (police, community building, maintenance, other.)

7.             Adjournment of Regular meeting

 

Notce of a Re-organizational Meeting 

 

Notice is hereby given that a re-organizational meeting of the Mayor and City Council of Humphrey, Nebraska will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the regular meeting closes, at the Humphrey Community Center.   The meeting will be open to the public.   

 

1.             Opening of the re-organizational meeting - roll call.    Inform the public of the posted open meeting laws and where they are posted.

2.             Newly re-elected Mayor and re-elected Councilmembers – Stallbaumer and Bode read Oath of Office

3.             Approval of the agenda.

4.             Open Eisenmenger’s 2 Subdivision Hearing

5.             Election of Council President – ask for nominations and motion to approve

6.             Review and Approval of committee appointments for 2025

2.  Discuss/approve Ordinance No. 773 - to set Water, Sewer, Garbage rates

3.  Close the Subdivision Hearing   

4.   Discuss/approve the recommendations of the Planning Board to approve Eisenmenger 2 subdivision development as presented

5.  Accept the resignation of Mel Harper effective December 31, 2024 as a full time employee and approve employment on a “as needed” basis for snow removal and/or other city emergencies   

7.             Adjournment
